The body itself is asking to return to its usual diet after a series of winter holidays.

After eating tasty, but fatty and not the healthiest food, many would be happy to sit for a week or two on dietary oatmeal.

Nutritionist Elena Solomatina told Vechernyaya Moskva how to properly follow a diet at the beginning of winter.

The expert does not recommend abruptly switching to a fasting diet after the New Year holidays.

This is a mistake that can cause more weight gain.

Solomatina claims that a sudden change in diet and eating regimen is a great stress for the body.

It is important to change your routine and habits gradually, including a large amount of fiber and protein in your diet.

Instead of cereals, it is better to cook vegetables and eat sauerkraut during this time.

For the first course you need to prepare soups, for the second course you can have fish or meat with vegetables.

Those who love sweets should also not limit themselves by abruptly eliminating sugar from their diet.

You can choose sweet tangerines, bananas, dark chocolate, dates.

But the most important thing in the post-holiday period is to avoid fasting and drink more water.

By the way, when you want to eat something sweet, the nutritionist advises drinking one glass of water.
