Those who are losing weight are sometimes looking for an individual diet, believing that generally accepted recommendations do not suit them personally due to their low effectiveness.
But in general, diets have not been cancelled, so first you need to figure out what exactly should be excluded from the diet.
Endocrinologist and nutritionist Yulia Blinova answered this question for the publication 76.RU.
It is important to exclude any endocrine issues that may hinder weight loss. For example, thyroid function, elevated prolactin, it is also important to understand whether there are any basic deficiencies that may hinder weight loss, the specialist notes.
Of the so-called basic diets, Blinova recommends the Mediterranean diet.
It involves daily consumption of vegetables and fruits, grains, legumes, and berries.
She recommends eating fruits instead of dessert, and if you eat them as a snack or in the evening, they help you gain weight.
But at the same time, the doctor reminds that there is no universal diet.
What foods to exclude
If vegetables, fruits, berries, fish are all useful on a diet, as are eggs, cheeses, dairy and fermented milk products, then sugar should be reduced.
Along with this, you need to give up baked goods made from white flour, soda, other sweet drinks, and store-bought juices.
The latter should be completely excluded from the diet, since their daily consumption leads to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, the doctor warns.
