Nutritionists warn against choosing strict or extreme diets that recommend eliminating high-calorie foods from the diet.
In reality, it turns out to be the opposite: strict diets are harmful to health, and high-calorie foods are beneficial if consumed in moderation.
The problem with weight loss products is often that many of them are nothing more than marketing gimmicks and a tribute to fashion. Fruit juices often contain more sugar than harmful soda, low-fat products also have a large amount of sugar added for taste, gluten-free products are only beneficial for people with celiac disease, - dietitian Evgenia Oganesova told the publication " Doctor Peter ".
But even if a low-calorie diet is prescribed by a doctor, there is no reason to be afraid of some high-calorie foods.
Healthy products
The nutritionist advises including the following eight foods in your diet, despite their calorie content.
- sunflower oil (contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamins A and E);
- cod liver (omega-3, vitamins A and D);
- Parmesan;
- macadamia nut;
- peanut, coconut and butter;
- sesame.
When consumed in moderation, these products will only benefit the body.
