How much salt to add to cabbage
For every kilogram of cabbage you need to take a tablespoon or 25 grams of salt.
A three-liter jar usually requires two to three kilograms of cabbage.
You need to add 50-70 grams of salt (two to three tablespoons) to a three-liter jar.
If you salt cabbage in a five-liter bucket, add four to five tablespoons of salt.
To pickle cabbage with brine, you need one and a half liters of water and two tablespoons of salt for two kilograms of cabbage.
