Summer residents know very well that cucumbers should and can be watered only with warm water. There are much more gaps in relation to other crops.

We will tell you about one mistake, due to which Bulgarian pepper seedlings often get sick, but only the most advanced gardeners know about it. The reason is watering.

Rules for watering peppers

Vegetables grow juicy and large if they have enough nutrients in the soil and there is no lack of moisture.

If we talk about sweet peppers, then nothing will work without regular watering.

1. If you are used to watering seedlings during the daytime, then you need to do this in cloudy weather.

Hot and bright sun will dry up the moisture faster than it will be absorbed by the plant. In this case, it is better to move watering to the evening.

2. Peppers that grow in open ground are not watered in the evening. This is a heat-loving crop, and if the moisture is not absorbed, the seedlings may freeze.

Therefore, it is important to monitor the weather forecast to anticipate temperature changes.

3. Water temperature is the most important thing. Water straight from a well or a pump is not suitable for irrigation.

You need to have a supply of warm water (not lower than 18 degrees Celsius). Otherwise, you can harm the crop.

4. The next important point is the watering technique. Water is supplied only under the root at intervals of 1 time in 3-5 days. If the summer is dry and hot, the interval is reduced to 1-2 days.

It is important to take into account the intensity of precipitation. Only heavy rain can replace full watering.
