This was reported by the chief nutritionist of the Moscow Department of Health, Antonina Starodubova.

How to have dinner properly
Firstly, dinner should be light: no more than 20% of the total caloric content of the diet.
Secondly, the evening meal should be early enough.
3.5-4 hours before bedtime, ” Starodubova clarified.
If you wish, you can have a small snack one and a half to two hours before going to bed, but this will count towards the calorie content of your dinner.
For example, you can eat a small portion of unsweetened yogurt or drink a glass of kefir.
According to Starodubova, there can be up to 5 meals per day: three main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and two snacks.
At the same time, at least 60% of the total caloric intake should be consumed in the first half of the day.
It is recommended to eat at the same time every day, the nutritionist added.
