Why do some diets make you gain weight even if you train like an Olympian?
Scientists from Stanford conducted an experiment. It involved 200 people with an ideal BMI, who were offered to switch to a “healthy” diet.
After a month, 70% of them gained 3 to 5 kilograms. Three hidden enemies are to blame.

The first one is protein bars.
Dr. Lisa Moskowitz , CEO of NY Nutrition Group , explained to Men's Health : "Many bars contain more sugar than a donut. They trick the brain into causing insulin spikes."
The second enemy is low-fat products.
A study in the British Medical Journal has found that fat substitutes disrupt metabolism, causing the body to store calories.
The third figure killer is fruit smoothies.
One famous actress confessed to the public on her blog: “I drank smoothies for breakfast and gained 7 kg.” She added that since then she has switched to eating only whole fruits.
User Dmitry from Novosibirsk wrote on the Bodybuilding.com forum: “ I switched to “diet” bread and 0% cottage cheese - I got a belly like a pregnant woman .”
The solution? Nutritionist Alexey Kovalkov advises eating natural fats - avocado, nuts, fatty fish, which provide satiety and accelerate fat burning.
Supplement your diet with sufficient protein and slow carbohydrates, and don't forget about fiber.
Remember: even sports won't save you if your diet consists of trap foods invented by marketers.
