Online training is a convenient alternative to working out in the gym.

This format of training, however, like any other, has its strengths and weaknesses - we suggest talking about them today to find out whether online classes are right for you, or whether it is better to choose classic training in a fitness club.

Benefits of Online Training

1. When working out online, you are not tied to a fitness club or time (if we are talking about ready-made videos from the gym).

2. The cost of such classes is usually lower.

3. Working with a trainer, even online, is still better than on your own (especially if you are a beginner).

Disadvantages of such activities

1. In fitness clubs, employees' diplomas are subject to verification - you can be sure that you are working with a highly qualified specialist. But when looking for a trainer on social networks, no one guarantees that he will be qualified.

2. You can injure yourself, for example, due to an error in choosing the weight of the projectile. Ask yourself: who will be responsible in this case?

3. You cannot be 100% sure that your mentor is carefully monitoring the technique of performing the exercises. It is quite possible that at the moment he is distracted by other applications on his phone or computer.

4. But even if the trainer is maximally involved in the process, due to the angle of the online camera, he simply cannot see the movement from all sides.

5. Finally, no one will insure you through the screen. It is also impossible to use a number of methods that increase the effectiveness of training - for example, forced or negative repetitions.
