What to eat to lose weight
Firstly, vegetables are irreplaceable helpers in losing weight.
Deryabina recommended focusing on green leafy vegetables (romaine lettuce, spinach, arugula), non-starchy vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers) and cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower).
Secondly, complex carbohydrates – whole grain bread and pasta, buckwheat, brown rice, quinoa.
The nutritionist warned that it is impossible to completely give up carbohydrates.
A complete rejection of carbohydrates can cause a strong craving for sweets and starchy foods, the specialist explained.
Thirdly, the diet should include lean meat and fish.
This can be turkey, chicken breast, cod, salmon. However, you should avoid frying with a lot of oil.
Deryabina also advised eating healthy fats: nuts, olive oil, avocado, seeds.
