Fatty and red meat are often called the enemy of health, and therefore the opinion has formed in society that this product is harmful, which means that pork has no place in a healthy diet.
But nutritionists did not say anything like that and, on the contrary, they say that pork is necessary for the normal functioning of the body.
Pork meat is rich in vitamins B1 - 34.7% of the daily requirement, B4 - 15%, B6 - 16.5%, PP - 29%, potassium - 11.4%, phosphorus - 20.5%, cobalt - 80% (it is the most abundant of all minerals), molybdenum - 18.6%, chromium - 27%, zinc - 17.3%, - nutritionist Lyudmila Mykityuk said in an interview with NEWS.ru.
Therefore, pork should not be excluded from the diet, but it is advisable to consume it no more than twice every 7 days in the amount of 100-150 grams (one serving).
Contraindications
Pork should not be consumed in the presence of gastrointestinal diseases, inflammation or damage to the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as in case of dysfunction of the digestive organs.
As the specialist noted, in the last two cases, pork and any red meat are strictly contraindicated.
