The products that a person chooses every day affect all systems – from the digestive to the reproductive. Therefore, when forming a diet, it is very important to take into account physiological needs, as well as the energy value of products.
Nutritionist Irina Mansurova told AiF about what kind of food should be consumed daily.
She noted that the menu should include eggs, which are a source of vitamins D, B2, B12, choline, iodine, folic acid and antioxidants. The product has a positive effect on the heart, joints, muscle mass, and promotes satiety.
You also need to eat vegetables every day.
Cabbage, for example, reduces the risk of respiratory diseases, and carrots have a positive effect on the condition of the eyes. Celery strengthens bones, tomatoes are necessary for maintaining eye health, and potatoes are needed for the normal functioning of the heart and blood vessels.
It is important to remember that vegetables should be subjected to minimal heat treatment. They will be even more beneficial if served with greens.
In addition, offal, fish, nuts, and meat are important for a healthy body. As for the latter product, you shouldn't overdo it. A meat dish should be on the table no more than 4 times a week and in the first half of the day.
You also need to include dairy products and whole grains in your menu.
As for drinks, you should choose pure water and green tea.
