Perhaps it will come as a revelation to some that some foods can not only satisfy hunger, but, on the contrary, whet the appetite even more.
The result in this case is disappointing – undesirable numbers on the scales.
1. Low-fat yogurt
Yogurt is hardly a filling product, especially if it is fat-free. In addition, to compensate for the lack of fat, manufacturers often add more sugar to the jars.
2. Granola bars
Before adding any product to your shopping cart, carefully study its composition. It often happens that the muesli bars that we consider super healthy contain too much sugar and no protein at all, which is why the feeling of satiety does not last long.
3. Apples
Green apples, and other sour foods, irritate the mucous membrane, which increases the production of gastric juice. This means that after such a healthy snack, your appetite will be simply brutal.
4. Fresh juices
All those useful fibers that are responsible for saturation, in fresh juices, or freshly squeezed juices, are hard to find. Instead, the drinks contain fructose, which is nothing more than sugar.
5. Beef
One of the benefits of beef is its high iron content. This would be fine, but researchers have found that a diet high in iron reduces levels of a hormone called leptin, which curbs appetite.
