For many, the holidays were accompanied by eating sweets, tasty and high-calorie dishes, as well as a sedentary lifestyle, when you want to watch another New Year's movie or lie in bed longer during bad weather outside.

But such a lifestyle, even if it is temporary, can lead to gaining extra pounds.

Therefore, it is worth trying to get back into shape after such a vacation.

Nutritionist Tatyana Zaletova spoke about the correct diet after the holidays, writes the website " Arguments and Facts ".

The doctor recommended first of all to give up fasting days. This will be stressful for the body and can lead to an exacerbation of gastrointestinal diseases.

The specialist also noted that it is useful to stick to a protein-vegetable diet during this period.

For each kilogram of weight, there should be one gram of protein. For example, if a person weighs 60 kilograms, then he will have to consume 60 grams of protein per day, which can be found in fish, poultry, meat, cottage cheese and other products. With such a weight, you will have to eat 300 grams of such a dish, but the portion should be stretched out over several meals.

In addition, the diet should include vegetables. It is desirable that they undergo a little heat treatment so that the products are easier to digest. Some vegetables will still have to be abandoned for a while. We are talking about beets, carrots and potatoes.

As for fruits, you should choose those that are rich in fiber to cleanse your body after the holidays. But fruits should not be eaten in the evening.

Zaletova emphasized the importance of drinking water and also recommended reducing the amount of salt in the diet.
