When preparing soup, many cooks use one very interesting additive.
We are talking about a mass that contains two products: wheat flour and butter.
The butter-flour mixture gives the soup an ideal consistency and a more intense flavour.
An expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova told about an interesting culinary trick.
How to Properly Prepare a Butter-Flour Mixture
Take a small but deep enough container and put one tablespoon of softened butter in it.
Add a similar amount of flour there.
Mix the contents of the container well and pour cold broth over the resulting mass (4 tablespoons will be enough).
The mixture must be stirred again until all lumps are gone.
The resulting liquid should be poured into the soup being prepared. This should be done approximately a quarter of an hour before the end of cooking.
What will the additive do to the soup?
Thanks to the butter and flour, the dish will become much thicker and more filling.
Besides, the soup will turn out very appetizing.
Important point: you don’t need to add the butter-flour mixture to the first course, which contains cereals and pasta.
But the use of this additive when preparing any other soup is only welcome.
