Many people love jam. And strawberry jam is especially popular. But, alas, not everyone can boast of the ability to cook it so that you lick your fingers.

The problem is easily solved. The method does not require extraordinary efforts, superpowers or other superpowers.

The recipe for making strawberry jam with chocolate was shared by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova .

What kind of chocolate do you need?

She says it's best to choose dark chocolate with a high cocoa content.

In addition, it is known that the higher the percentage of cocoa in chocolate, the healthier it is. Therefore, a product is recommended where this percentage starts from 55%.

Important: for making jam, it is better to use sugar-free chocolate (it already contains it, plus strawberries).

There is no need to melt the chocolate in a steamer or microwave; it is enough to crush the bar.

Cooking process

To prepare the dish you will need strawberries (a kilo), sugar (half a kilo), and dark chocolate (80 grams).

Remove stems from strawberries, rinse well and dry with a paper towel.

Next, we put the berries in a saucepan, sprinkle with sugar and leave for half an hour so that the strawberries release their juice.

Let's chop our chocolate. Put the saucepan on medium heat, bring to a boil, stir with a spoon from time to time.

The finishing stage

After boiling, the mixture should be cooked for another ten minutes.

Then add the chopped chocolate pieces to the jam and let it cook for another 5 minutes.

Then we put it into sterile jars and close them with lids. We store the resulting product in a cool place.
