When is the best time to exercise for weight loss?

To get rid of excess weight, you should give preference to morning workouts.

Morning workouts can be especially helpful if you want to lose weight, Verenkina said.

According to her, Japanese scientists have found that training on an empty stomach increases fat oxidation over the next 24 hours more significantly than exercising at other times of the day.

However, you shouldn’t sacrifice sleep for the sake of morning workouts; there will be little benefit.

As the trainer explained, lack of sleep leads to weight gain and increases the risk of developing heart and vascular diseases.

Verenkina also warned against training too late.

According to the expert, there should be an interval of several hours between training and sleep.

Working out too late can overload the nervous system and cause sleep problems, the trainer warned.
