Stress is present in each of our lives in one way or another.
But few people know that its negative impact can be reduced by simply making some adjustments to your usual diet.
If you want to try to minimize the effects of stressful situations on the body, follow these recommendations.
1. Regularly consume so-called anti-stress products.
These include fish and seafood, nuts and legumes, eggs and numerous spices, including saffron, cinnamon, turmeric, rosemary, thyme. Don't forget to include vegetables and fruits, dairy products and whole grains in your breakfasts and dinners.
2. Try to drink less coffee, especially in the afternoon.
Alternatively, try drinking natural cocoa instead of coffee, which contains potassium and magnesium – they have a beneficial effect on the nervous system.
3. Drink 6-8 glasses of clean water during the day.
This way you can control the water balance in your body, and at the same time reduce the risk of overeating caused by stress.
4. Don’t neglect snacks, which can include cottage cheese, natural yogurt, berries, fruits, dried fruits, vegetables and nuts.
Small portions of food satisfy hunger and provide the body with the necessary microelements, vitamins and other useful substances.
