Some people can't imagine their usual diet without a slice of bread. Some even say that they can't get full without this product at lunch or dinner.

There is nothing wrong with such a habit, but everything depends on the quantity and quality of bread.

Nutritionist Natalia Denisova spoke about this in more detail, reports the publication aif.ru.

The specialist noted that it is better to choose bread made from rye flour. It has more essential amino acids. Much depends on the grinding. The finer the grinding, the less valuable.

It is permissible to eat up to 300 grams of bread per day (this is about 5 slices). In this case, you can get all the important elements from such a product: phosphorus, magnesium, vitamins B1, B2, PP, etc.

Specialist Denisova also noted that just 100 g of rye bread (two slices) contains 30-35 mg of selenium. She emphasized that this is more than 50% of the daily requirement.

The doctor added that such a product can be added to the diet of those who watch their weight.

Earlier we talked about how to save bread from mold.
