Perhaps, everyone who dreams of getting rid of excess weight would also like to improve their health.

It turns out that you can achieve both of these goals with the help of the omni-diet, the author of which is American nurse Tana Amen.

According to her, if you stick to this diet, you will not only say goodbye to fat deposits (up to 6 kg in 2 weeks), but will also benefit your heart, blood vessels and brain.

Amen divides all products into 3 groups: permitted, prohibited and acceptable. If there are usually no questions with the first two categories, then the last category means that these products can be eaten, but only in small quantities.

Allowed foods on the omni diet include non-starchy vegetables, lean meat, fish and seafood, olive and other unrefined oils, seeds, nuts and eggs.

You can drink plant-based milk and green tea.

Fruits and gluten-free grains (brown rice, buckwheat, quinoa) and legumes are allowed. As for sweets, you can indulge yourself with honey, and from time to time you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee.

Everything else is forbidden to eat - first of all, the ban applies to fast food, sausages and semi-finished products. The taboo applies to white sugar, potatoes, white bread, fatty meat, dairy products.

The omni diet should consist of 90% permitted foods (70 of which are permitted and 30 are permitted), and the remaining 10% can be spent on “forbidden” foods.

The diet duration is 3 stages of 2 weeks each (6 weeks in total). Each of them allows you to say goodbye to 5-6 extra kilos.

The first phase – the entry – implies that you will give up sugar, fatty foods and fast carbohydrates and focus on vegetables, fruits and protein.

The second phase allows a number of indulgences: you can "treat" yourself to a small portion of chocolate or drink an extra cup of coffee. In general, the diet is the same as for the first phase.

Finally, the third phase is needed to consolidate the results obtained.
