A new diet is gaining popularity in European countries, the founders of which claim that with its help you can lose up to 20 kilograms in just six weeks.

It sounds tempting, but doctors have repeatedly warned about the dangers of such a result and the consequences of extreme weight loss.

Ice Diet

The founder of the diet is Dr. Weiner from the USA. He began practicing his method several years ago.

The idea is very simple: every day you need to drink 1 liter of very cold water with crushed ice.

The diet is based on the idea that it will take a lot of effort for the body to melt the ice, which will increase calorie expenditure.

Harvard University researchers have allegedly proven that drinking ice water increases calorie expenditure by an additional 2,800 per week.

You will only have to endure for six weeks, and also take into account that you will have to eat according to the 14/10 system during this entire time.

That is, in 14 hours you need to eat three times, and the remaining 10 hours you will have to fast. But the catch is that you will have to eat the same cold food.

Anything containing sugar and sweets as such is taboo, but that's not all.

It is recommended to sleep in a cool room without a blanket or pajamas.

In living quarters, it is recommended to maintain the temperature no higher than 18-20 degrees Celsius, and when going for a walk, it is recommended to dress lighter - only a hat and gloves are required.

It is recommended to open the windows wide several times a day, even in winter and autumn, take a contrast shower, and also increase the duration of walks.

Ultimately, the ice diet will help you return to a healthy weight.
