If you have a habit of binge eating at night, the worst thing you can do is try to break it with restrictions.
Remember: a ban will inevitably be followed by a breakdown, an eating disorder, and so on down the list.
Instead, try doing something different.
1. Eat a balanced and varied diet throughout the day - such a rich and filling diet reduces the likelihood that you will overeat in the evening.
2. Try not to overeat at dinner: It is a mistake to think that a heavy dinner will save you from the temptation to snack before bed. Instead, try to eat a light meal for dinner and divide it into 2 parts.
3. Before going to bed, take a walk in the fresh air to calm down, take your mind off food, and prepare your body for sleep.
4. Don't forget about sports: your option is not heavy training, but moderate physical activity, which keeps your pulse at 110 beats per minute.
5. Try to go to bed earlier - before you feel an irresistible urge to pull the refrigerator door towards you.
6. Try to trick your stomach by drinking a glass of warm water with lemon and honey – this drink will suppress your hunger for a while.
