It is difficult to find a gourmet who would refuse fried fish - delicious, golden and with an appetizing crust.

However, not all people know how to properly prepare a product for heat treatment.

It turns out that before frying, fish pieces need not only to be salted, but also sprinkled with granulated sugar.

The expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, cook, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova explained the meaning of this culinary procedure.

The resulting crust will have a pleasant crunch and bright taste.

The thing is that a barely perceptible sweet “note” only improves the dish: the taste acquires “volume”.

The main thing is not to overdo it with granulated sugar. One pinch is enough for five pieces of fish.

There is an interesting recommendation about salt: it is advisable to add it to the flour. This approach also increases the chances of getting a dish with a golden crust. In addition, the dish will certainly turn out juicy.
