Why does a cat wake up its owner in the morning: not only because of the desire to eat - there is another reason

What will the owner think if in the morning the cat jumps on his bed and starts sniffing his face?

Surely a person will come to the following conclusion: “Most likely, the fluffy one wants to eat.”

The pet owner may be right.

But often the cat tries to wake up a person not because of the desire to eat or not only for this reason.

There is another explanation for this behavior of a four-legged friend in the morning hours.

So, the cat may simply be… worried about its owner.

Why does a cat wake up a person in the morning

Cats are animals that like to live by a schedule. They hate those moments when the usual processes do not happen for some reason.

And if the owner, who is used to getting up at 6 am, suddenly decides to sleep longer, the cat will definitely try to approach him.

The animal will start behaving this way for two reasons. First, it needs to get the owner to "correct the mistake."

Secondly, you need to check if everything is okay with the person.

Yes, we can say that the morning behavior of a purring cat is a kind of manifestation of love and affection for the owner.

It is also worth noting that the cat is most likely not trying to wake the person up. The animal has probably already felt that the owner is waking up (by the changed breathing). It would be more correct to say this: the pet wants to start interacting with the person who stops sleeping himself.

Earlier we told you how to train your cat to go for walks.
