Before you go out to buy seeds, you need to make a list of what you need.
The list should not contain notes like “cucumbers” or “tomatoes”: decide in advance on the varieties that you would like to see on your site.
This way you won’t get confused when you see a wide range of products, avoid impulse purchases and choose exactly what suits you.
Look
Before purchasing, carefully study the packaging and the characteristics of the seed material indicated on it.
Here you will find important information: the name of the variety or hybrid, optimal growing conditions, planting dates, etc.
Sometimes manufacturers also indicate the number of seeds in the package, the year the seeds were collected, the percentage of germination, etc.
Touch it
To ensure the quality of the seeds, carefully feel them through the packaging. The grains should be whole, without cracks or other defects.
If the wrapper is clear, check for mold or other damage.
