It is buckwheat that helps to compensate for the deficiency of this mineral – for the simple reason that this product contains a large amount of this useful mineral.
Experts reminded that plant iron is absorbed only by 8-18 percent, while animal iron is absorbed by 15%-35%.
To ensure better absorption of iron, experts recommend eating buckwheat with fresh vegetables, fruits and greens, which are rich in vitamin C.
