Often people who want to lose weight reduce the amount of sugar in their diet to a minimum.

Along with sweets, they also forbid themselves from eating fruits, because they believe that they contain an excessive amount of sugar and carbohydrates.

This opinion, indeed, has the right to exist. But at the same time, we should not forget that fruits can be beneficial for the body.

According to a number of studies, this product reduces the risk of stroke, osteoporosis and other diseases. And fruits are also worth eating for those who want to keep their skin young as long as possible.

It turns out that you should eat certain fruits - they don't contain as much sugar as it might seem at first glance.

These fruits also act as a first-class source of protein, which is known to be of great importance for successful weight loss.

We are talking, first of all, about peaches, in which the amount of sugar does not exceed 13 g. In addition, peaches contain a large amount of beta-carotene and vitamin C.

Apricots are no less useful with their increased content of vitamins A, C and E, zinc and potassium. And apricots also contain 1.4 g of protein.

The same amount of protein, by the way, can be found in blackberries.

In addition, while on a diet, you can safely snack on grapefruits and red apples, which do not contain much sugar - only 8.5 g and 19 g, respectively.

And you will find protein in such fruits as bananas and kiwi. Here its quantity is 1.1 g.
