Ideal composition
At first glance, all mayonnaise is the same and differs only in fat content. But this is not so.
First, the sauce should be made from chicken eggs, milk, vegetable oil, mustard and vinegar, as well as sugar and salt.
The product should not contain anything else.
Secondly, you can tell quality mayonnaise by looking at the product’s expiration date.
If the sauce does not contain preservatives, it can be stored for no more than 30-45 days.
In this case, storage conditions imply a temperature of no higher than +10 degrees Celsius.
Thirdly, mayonnaise prepared in accordance with GOST must be at least 50% fat.
Anything below this mark is not mayonnaise, but mayonnaise sauce.
You should also pay attention to the vegetable oil used by the manufacturer.
It must be refined and deodorized.
