Those who previously did not like coffee should reconsider their habits.
Recent studies in Portugal have shown that even the caffeine contained in the drink is not such a harmful substance for health.
Researchers at the Center for Neurology and Cell Biology have concluded that coffee prolongs life and preserves youth.

The scientific publication Ageing Research Reviews writes about this.
What was found out?
As it turns out, caffeine, chlorogenic acids and other active substances found in coffee have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
They influence the processes associated with aging, stimulate the body and improve its functioning.
The findings were made after analyzing 50 epidemiological studies involving nearly three million people.
The level of drink consumption was compared with mortality rates and life expectancy of the population.
It turned out that moderate coffee consumption reduces the likelihood of mortality by a wide range of medical indicators by 17%.
But the most interesting thing is that it was simultaneously possible to prove that coffee reduces the risk of age-related diseases.
In healthy people, this habit increased life expectancy by 1.8 years.
In addition to improving cognitive function and well-being in older adults, coffee has been shown to have positive effects on the course of cancer, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.
In other words, coffee stabilizes and normalizes the functioning of the body's systems, and its moderate consumption improves the quality of life.
