Why is yogurt harmful?
As the nutritionist explained, store-bought yogurts often contain sugar, colorings, preservatives, emulsifiers, stabilizers, etc.
It is already quite difficult to call such a product useful, Mikhaleva stated.
According to her, consuming such yoghurts in large quantities can lead to obesity and increased cholesterol levels.
Digestive problems and fatty liver disease may also occur.
In addition, an allergic reaction to the additives contained in the product may develop.
The specialist recommended always checking the composition of the product.
Natural yogurt, Mikhaleva clarified, contains only milk and a special yogurt starter.
The expert also recommended paying attention to the fat content of yogurt.
Yogurt with more than 3.2% fat content is a fairly fatty product, the doctor noted.
