Not everyone can eat porridge for breakfast.
Endocrinologist and nutritionist Oksana Mikhaleva warned about this.
An expert told the Izvestia publication who is contraindicated from eating porridge for breakfast.

Who shouldn't have porridge for breakfast
Firstly, you can’t eat porridge for breakfast if you are overweight.
According to Mikhaleva, people who are overweight need to eat protein products for breakfast in combination with complex carbohydrates.
For example, an omelet with vegetables and whole grain bread or cottage cheese dishes, the nutritionist gave examples.
Secondly, you should not eat porridge at all if you are intolerant to gluten, a protein found in grains such as rye, barley, and wheat.
It may be present in oatmeal as an impurity, noted Mikhaleva.
Thirdly, you cannot have porridge with milk for breakfast if you are intolerant to cow's milk protein or lactose.
Symptoms include: bloating, intestinal discomfort, pain, problems with bowel movements.
Skin rashes are also possible, the specialist added.
