You should eat no more than three or four pancakes at one time.
This advice was given by the chief nutritionist of the Moscow Department of Health, Antonina Starodubova.
An expert told MIA "Russia Today" how to enjoy pancakes without harming your health.

How to Avoid Overeating Pancakes on Maslenitsa
As Starodubova explained, pancakes are a rather high-calorie and heavy dish; you can’t eat them every day.
The portion should be small – 150-200 g including the filling, usually 3-4 pancakes, the nutritionist clarified.
She also gave some tips on how to make pancakes healthier and less caloric.
First, use low-fat milk, reduce the amount of sugar and egg yolks.
Secondly, add whole grain, rye, buckwheat, barley or pea flour to the dough.
Third, bake the pancakes in a non-stick frying pan without oil or in a pancake maker.
Fourthly, use products for the filling that are low in salt, sugar and fat.
For example, instead of jam, you can use frozen berries.
Fillings made from various vegetables and herbs are good, the expert added.
