He came to the conclusion that two fasting days during the week allow the body to cleanse itself of fat deposits without stress.

To increase the effect of weight loss, you need to limit your diet on such days to 500 kilocalories, but eat a variety of foods.

Fasting days should be with an interval of 2-3 days. This method of body recovery is widely used by Hollywood stars.

According to doctors, it really helps to activate metabolism and, in combination with active sports, allows a person to reduce their weight by 40 kg per year.

The doctor recommends:

- on fasting days, do not reduce your diet to less than 800 kcal;

- stick to a daily diet within 2000 kcal;

- avoid intervals between meals longer than 5 hours;

- eat nutritious but low-calorie foods: seafood, lean meat, fish, dairy products and whole grain bread.

These rules will protect the thyroid gland and will not contribute to the accumulation of fat in the body.

This diet is not suitable for people who actively engage in sports with heavy physical exertion. It can greatly affect the emotional state of women during PMS.

For people who are not overweight and eat well, it is enough to go 16 hours without food once a week.

This will allow the body to cleanse itself and start the rejuvenation processes.
