How Much Sleep Do You Need to Lose Belly Fat: No Diets or Exercises Necessary

It is no secret that many people would like to reduce their belly. But there is usually no desire to do exhausting exercises or go on a strict diet.

It turns out that you can get rid of belly fat without much effort.

A study conducted by researchers at Wake Forest University (USA) showed that sleeping less than five hours a night leads to an increase in the amount of fat deposits in the abdominal area.

Therefore, to lose weight, it is recommended to sleep at least eight hours a day.

Getting enough sleep is important, especially considering the fact that the hormone melatonin is produced exclusively at night.

Melatonin synthesis depends on the time of day, and in our latitudes its peak occurs between 9 pm and 1 am.

The second condition for the production of the hormone is that the food eaten must have time to be digested, otherwise insulin will be produced, slowing down the synthesis of melatonin.

Although having dinner at 6 pm and going to bed at 9 pm may seem difficult to some, this is the schedule you should strive for: having dinner at 7-8 pm and going to bed at 10-10:30 pm.

The more sleep you get between 9 pm and 1 am, the better for the weight loss process.

Earlier we talked about a diet that gets rid of fat from the sides.
