Diets are usually perceived as a restriction in food, most often in your favorite food. Therefore, many people find it difficult to fight excess weight or follow a therapeutic diet.

It is believed that the reason is hunger. It will be interesting to know that there is a diet that imitates the feeling of hunger.

The authors of the development are employees of the laboratory of the Leonard Davis School of the University of Southern California.

The results of the research were published in the Times of India.

The effect can be compared to when a person drinks nothing but water.

The difference of this diet is that it provides the body with all the necessary substances and helps to reduce biological age.

What to eat

Volunteers (aged 18 to 70) were fed plant-based soups, energy bars and drinks, and other supplements containing minerals, vitamins, and fatty acids as part of the studies.

The results of the first tests showed that the diet simulating fasting allowed the biological age of the volunteers to be reduced by 2.5 years on average.
