Many men and women who want to get rid of extra pounds include pineapple in their diet.
But, as it turned out, this fruit does not have a fat-burning effect.
This statement was made by nutritionist Antonina Starodubova to Moscow 24 .
At the same time, she noted that pineapple contains a lot of useful components.
For example, it contains vitamins B1, B2, C, PP, as well as iodine, calcium and magnesium.
Starodubova added that pineapple also contains fiber, which has a positive effect on the body, improves bowel function and metabolism.
The doctor reminded that you can't eat too much pineapple per day. You can indulge in a maximum of 300 g of the product per day.
The specialist emphasized that it is better to eat fresh or frozen pieces of tropical fruit.
It is advisable to avoid canned products, since some of the beneficial substances are lost after processing.
