Some people make a mistake and refuse even cereals during weight loss. But there are porridges that are healthy. They are rich in fiber, do not significantly increase glucose levels, which means that they can be safely added to the diet, but, of course, you should not overdo it with portions.
Nutritionist Margarita Koroleva spoke about which cereals in particular should be paid attention to during the diet, reports Moscow 24 .
The doctor recommended giving preference to porridges made from grains that have not been shelled. The fact is that in this case the body will receive more useful plant fiber, which is necessary for normal weight loss and good bowel function.
As for processed grains, the amount of carbohydrates in them will be several times higher.
The Queen recommended including buckwheat, quinoa, whole grain rice, amaranth in the diet, and you can also eat rolled oats, but you should choose the one that needs to be cooked for a long time.
You can add vegetables, fruits, berries, nuts and seeds to porridge.
But you can eat this dish no more than four times a week and only in the morning.
