Harm from green onions

Despite the extensive help to the body, green onions are not without their drawbacks. People with gastrointestinal diseases should use them with great caution, since the essential oils in their composition actively increase the acidity of gastric juice.

People with hypertension should be careful with onions because of chlorophyll, which has a negative effect on blood pressure. Obesity is also on the list of contraindications, since the taste of onions increases appetite.

Many people refuse to use the useful plant because of its specific smell. But there are ways to quickly minimize it.

You can kill the smell by eating one coffee bean, a small bunch of parsley, a mug of strong green tea or lemon.
