If the fruit, carefully cut for the holiday table, is still lying on a beautiful plate, do not rush to throw it in the trash can.

Instead of throwing away tasty and healthy fruits, expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, advises to prepare a drink that tastes amazing and can also provide you with energy for a long time.

Here is a rough list of the ingredients needed:

  • 1 banana,
  • 1 apple (can be replaced with a pear),
  • 1-2 tangerines (or orange),
  • 5-7 grapes (optional),
  • 200 ml kefir or yogurt,
  • 1 teaspoon honey (again, optional),
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon (again optional).

Fruits, of course, need to be peeled. Peel the banana and citrus fruits, and remove the core and seeds from the apple and pear.

If you decide to use grapes in the cooking process, make sure that the berries are seedless.

All fruits should be cut into large pieces, although if they were served as a fruit platter, this has probably already been done.

Now put the fruit pieces into the blender bowl.

This is where you should actually put all the other ingredients. As you may have noticed, the obligatory component, in addition to fruit, is kefir or yogurt, while the other additives are optional.

Honey will add the desired sweetness to your drink, and cinnamon will add a subtle and pleasant aroma.

All that remains is to turn on the device to beat all the ingredients until they acquire a uniform consistency.

That's it, the smoothie is ready. Pour it into a glass and serve immediately after preparation.
