It turns out that it is quite possible to make chebureki without dough.
We are talking about a dish called “cabbage chebureki”.
The dish has a bright taste and a pleasant crunch.
Every gourmet should definitely try this unusual version of cabbage rolls.
The recipe for this unusual dish was shared by the Belnovosti online publication's expert in the field of cooking, chef, and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.
How to cook cabbage chebureki
Take a head of cabbage, wrap it in film and put it in the microwave for 10 minutes.
Once the procedure is complete, the leaves will come off with incredible ease.
But be careful: after prolonged microwave cooking, the cabbage will be very hot.
Therefore, it is better to proceed as follows: prepare the filling while the vegetable is cooling.
Place one chopped onion in a heated frying pan. After a while, add one grated carrot. The vegetable mixture should be salted.
The mixture brought to readiness must be mixed with 600 grams of minced meat.
Next, you need to "fill" the cabbage leaves. Put the filling on half of each of them and cover the vegetable-meat mixture with the other half. The base of the chebureki is ready.
How to make batter for cabbage chebureki
Next, you need to prepare the mixture into which the cabbage rolls will be dipped before frying. Combine the following ingredients:
- 2 raw eggs;
- 30 grams of sour cream;
- 20 grams of flour;
- a little salt and ground pepper.
The result will be a mixture that should be used to cover all the chebureki.
Place the resulting envelopes in a frying pan and fry them on both sides.
