First of all, it is worth remembering that not all cabbage is suitable for stuffed cabbage rolls. When choosing a head of cabbage, give preference to one that has a round or elongated shape and thin leaves,
In flattened heads of cabbage, the leaves are uneven - you shouldn't count on getting neat cabbage rolls from them.
After you have trimmed off the bad leaves, rinse the cabbage and cut out the core.
Then put the forks into boiling water. You should also pour half a teaspoon of vinegar here.
As a result, the cabbage leaves will be dense and will not tear when you roll the filling into them.
Cabbage leaves usually need about 2-3 minutes of boiling time, after which you can start separating them from the head. And don't forget to cut off the thick veins.
