Ingredients
To prepare a dish consisting of vegetables and mushrooms baked under puff pastry, we assume that we are talking about 4 servings.
So, we will need chopped leeks (one piece), sliced fresh champignons (3 cups).
You will also need 2 carrots cut into circles, two thirds of a glass of frozen green peas, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil (extra virgin).
In addition, take two thirds of a glass of vegetable broth and a layer of ready-made puff pastry.
And also: grated Parmesan (2 tablespoons), salt or ground black pepper (to taste), boiled potatoes (optional).
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 210 degrees. Place the rack in the middle position.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Add leeks and carrots there, stir, the process will take about two minutes.
Then add the mushrooms to the pan and continue the same steps for another two minutes.
Next, add green peas and tarragon to this mixture, pour in the broth, and add salt and pepper to taste.
Then transfer the contents of the frying pan into a 1.5 liter heat-resistant dish.
Cover this form with a sheet of puff pastry, which we press against the vegetables and the edges of the form.
The pressed-out middle should be lightly greased with water and sprinkled with cheese.
Place the form on a baking tray, and then place it in a preheated oven. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
Serve the closed “pie” hot, with boiled potatoes, but this is optional.
