Boiled eggs are an essential ingredient for many dishes.
But sometimes even experienced cooks are unable to carefully cut a crumbling yolk, which, of course, spoils the appearance of the dish.
Fortunately, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, knows what to do to beautifully cut boiled eggs.
Let's start with the fact that the eggs themselves must be cooked according to all the rules: they cannot simply be thrown into boiling water - the product must be placed in cold water, wait until it boils, and then reduce the heat and cook the eggs for 8-10 minutes.
Place the finished eggs immediately into a previously prepared container with cold water - this will not only stop the cooking process, but also make it easier to remove the shell.
After this, find a fairly sharp knife with a thin and long blade and place it in cool water (it is better to add a couple of ice cubes there).
Before making another cut, cool the knife in water - a cold blade is the key to an even and clear cut, which causes minimal damage to the yolk.
And remember: rushing won’t help here – cuts should be made slowly and without rushing.
