Pickled chicken eggs are a wonderful and unusual snack that has gained popularity not only in Germany, but all over the world.
For a Russian person, this is not quite an ordinary dish, but having prepared it, you will not only be surprised by the original taste, but also amaze your guests with a unique product.
The recipe was shared by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", cook, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.
Necessary products:
1. Vinegar 5% - 250 ml.
2. Water – 250 ml.
3. Table salt – 2 tbsp.
4. Bay leaf – 2-3 pcs.
5. Caraway – 1/2 teaspoon (it is preferable to use whole seeds).
6. Black peppercorns – 1/2 teaspoon.
7. Garlic – 3 small cloves.
8. Boiled chicken eggs – 10 pieces.
Preparation
First, prepare the necessary products and put them on the table.
Take a plastic container and mix table salt, vinegar and water in it. Stir gently until the salt is completely dissolved.
Add bay leaf, caraway seeds, peppercorns and three whole cloves of garlic to the resulting marinade.
Take a regular glass jar (or other container, but be sure to have a lid).
Place boiled peeled eggs inside (they should be cooled after boiling).
Then pour the prepared marinade over the eggs so that it completely covers the eggs.
Then close the jar tightly and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
After the specified time, you can safely take out the marinated eggs and serve them to the festive table. Rest assured, your guests will appreciate the simplicity and unique taste of the dish!
