For those who want to cook eggs perfectly (in all three ways), the corresponding rules were voiced by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova .
Put soft-boiled eggs into boiling water, cook for no more than three minutes. Then take them out and rinse with cold water.
Poached eggs – boil in boiling water for no more than four minutes. Then rinse with cold water.
Boil hard-boiled eggs in boiling water for no more than 12 minutes. Then rinse with cold water.
In the latter case, many people make a mistake during the cooking process, which leads to the appearance of a dark coating on the yolk.
That is why – to prevent this from happening – we rinse the eggs with cold water after boiling.
And in order to prevent the contents of the eggs from leaking out through cracks in the shell, you need to add salt to the water.
