It is difficult to imagine any first course without including such an ingredient as fried vegetables.

Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova told what needs to be done to achieve the ideal result.

Let's start with what you shouldn't do: experts do not recommend frying onions and carrots in the same pan.

These vegetables take different amounts of time to cook.

For this reason, to ensure that both the carrots and onions acquire a beautiful golden hue and brown, it is recommended to fry the onions and carrots separately.

You should start with the onion. Chop it into small pieces and fry it in a frying pan until soft.

After this, you can add grated carrots to the dish.

Don't forget to sprinkle it with a little sugar - this will give it a pleasant sweet taste and make it brown faster.

Thus, with just two main ingredients (not counting the additional one – oil), and with due attention to both of them, you will be able to prepare an amazing frying for first courses.
