How to cook cabbage cutlets in the oven: the dish turns out soft, but with a crispy crust

You can prepare delicious and filling cutlets for lunch even without a gram of meat.

An expert from the online publication BelNovosti, Yulia Arkhipova, shared a simple recipe.

What ingredients are needed

  • White cabbage, 1 kg,
  • Champignons, 250 g,
  • Onion, 1 pc.,
  • Semolina, 50 g,
  • Pepper and salt,
  • Breadcrumbs, 200 g.

How to cook cabbage cutlets

The vegetable should be chopped, placed in a saucepan and covered with water.

You need to cook the cabbage for no more than 10 minutes, then cool it and mix it with the mushrooms and onions, which you should first fry in vegetable oil for about 8 minutes.

Pepper, salt and semolina should be added to such a vegetable mixture. Everything should be mixed and left for half an hour at room temperature.

Then you can form cutlets, which should be generously coated in breadcrumbs.

The dish should be baked on each side for 15-20 minutes. The temperature should be about 200-220 degrees.
