Eastern desserts can be prepared at home, and it is so easy to do that you can enjoy their incredible taste and impressive appearance almost every day.
This sausage with almonds, walnuts and dried fruits, the recipe of which we will share with you today, is suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and people observing Lent.
To prepare you will need:
- 70 g prunes (pitted);
- 80 g dried apricots (pitted);
- 100 g dates;
- 45 g dried cranberries;
- 50 g raisins (seedless);
- 50 g pumpkin seeds;
- 75 g almonds;
- 70 g walnuts;
- 20 g oatmeal;
- 35 g sesame seeds.
1. First, wash the dried fruits thoroughly: prunes, dried apricots, cranberries, dates and raisins. Fill a plate with hot water and leave them like this for 20-25 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, grind the walnuts and roast the sesame seeds and chopped almonds. Mix the nuts with the pumpkin seeds and oatmeal.
3. Add chopped dried apricots, cranberries and raisins to the nut mixture.
4. Throw the steamed dates and prunes into a blender, then add the resulting mass to the nut mixture.
5. Shape the mass into a sausage and roll it in sesame seeds. The dessert will be ready after it has been in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Then cut the sausage into slices and you can start tasting.
