Not all peelings belong in the trash can.
For example, the skin removed from potatoes is an excellent ingredient for making crispy chips.
The main thing is to wash the tubers thoroughly under running water before you start cooking, and rub the hard-to-reach areas with a soft brush.
Once you have removed the stuck soil, you can begin cleaning with a clear conscience.
Sprinkle the peeled skin with olive oil and season using your favorite spices for future chips.
A great option would be a mix of Italian herbs, smoked paprika or dried garlic.
Don't forget to add salt, then mix everything in the bowl and place it on a baking sheet. Bake the chips in the oven until they become crispy.
Please note that green peels are not suitable for making chips.
