As a child, you may have heard your mother ask you to get some meat out of the freezer.
However, sometimes parents’ requests remained unheard, and the products remained frozen.
It would seem that we have grown up, but nothing has changed - we still forget to take the meat out of the freezer when we go to work, which delays the process of preparing a delicious dinner for at least an hour.
If you have a microwave at home, such forgetfulness will not be a problem, but what should you do if you do not have such equipment in the kitchen?
The answer is simple – resort to that very “mother’s” method that she learned from her mother, and she from hers, and so on.
So, in order not to waste time waiting for the meat to defrost, place it in a container with water.
That's not all - you also need to add salt here (by eye), which will dissolve in the water and help the ice crust disappear.
This way, thanks to a little trick with salt, you can get completely defrosted meat in a short time.
