Not all housewives like to bother with preparing cabbage rolls, and the reason most often lies in cabbage leaves.
So why not tell us about a proven method that will help you quickly and easily sort cabbage for stuffed cabbage rolls.
For this you will need the most ordinary freezer, which can probably be found in any kitchen.
First, you need to cut the stalk out of the cabbage.
Place the resulting mixture into a bag and make sure that the cabbage is completely covered.
Now you can safely send the head of cabbage to one of the freezer compartments.
Young cabbage should be left in the freezer for 24 hours, old hard cabbage – for 2-3 days.
To ensure that the cabbage has time to thaw, take it out of the freezer a few hours in advance, or better yet, overnight. When it thaws, the leaves will be soft and pliable, so you won’t have any difficulties in preparing the cabbage rolls.
